Prime Minister begins Japan visit to strengthen ties
June 05,nhận định wolves 2017 - 10:28Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc, his spouse and a high-ranking government delegation arrived in Japan yesterday, beginning a five-day official visit to the country to attend the 23rd International Conference on the Future of Asia, at the invitation of Japanese PM Shinzo Abe.
TOKYO – Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc, his spouse and a high-ranking government delegation arrived in Japan yesterday, beginning a five-day official visit to the country to attend the 23rd International Conference on the Future of Asia, at the invitation of Japanese PM Shinzo Abe.
PM Phúc yesterday visited the Việt Nam Embassy and talked with the Vietnamese community in Japan.
He spoke highly of the sound performance and contributions the embassy has made in boosting Việt Nam – Japan strategic partnership across multiple fields.
The PM said co-operation potential between the two countries remains extensive, based on mutual trust and their respective strengths to supplement each other.
He asked the embassy and Vietnamese expats to promote bilateral co-operation programmes in all fields.
The PM recommended the embassy to implement the protection of Vietnamese nationals in Japan and support expatriates in living and studying.
As scheduled, an official welcome ceremony and talks between PM Phúc and his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe will take place tomorrow.
During his stay, the Vietnamese Government leader will deliver a speech at the opening ceremony of the 23rd International Conference on the Future of Asia and have a dialogue with participants.
He will preside over an investment promotion conference in Tokyo and witness the signing of cooperation agreements between ministries, sectors and enterprises of the two countries.
The Vietnamese official will also meet with local officials of Japan, and representatives from the Japan-Việt Nam Friendship Association and trade organisations.-VNS
