HÀ NỘI - Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc yesterday called for the launch of a monitoring system for e-Government to gauge the level of the use of online public services in ministries, agencies and localities.
He made the request at a conference yesterday on the three-month operation of the National Public Service Portal.
Speaking at the event, the PM said the addition of 11 public services on the portal had helped the Government save time and money, especially amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
He asked localities to connect with the portal and standardise data on the national database on administrative procedures, making it easier for businesses and people to access.

At the same time, he called for stepping up online payment of fees and taxes as well as financial obligations in the handling of administrative procedures.

The Ministry of Finance was assigned to offer fee exemptions and reductions to users of online payment of public administrative services.

On cybersecurity and safety, he asked the Government Office to work with the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Ministry of Public Security to prevent data leaks.

The Government Office was tasked with building a centre to update data as well as monthly, quarterly and annual socio-economic reports.

As of March 11, the Government Report Platform had 19 report functions of nine ministries and agencies.

After three months of operation, the portal has connected with 14 ministries and 63 localities, with nearly 79,000 subscribers, more than 23 million visits and 2.9 million submitted documents. VNS
