HÀ NỘI — The 28th session of the National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee wrapped up on Wednesday after meeting for three days, reaching several decisions on a number of important issues.
Addressing the closing ceremony, NA Chairwoman Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân asked the Government, the Việt Nam Fatherland Front Central Committee, the NA’s Council for Ethnic Affairs, NA committees, and the NA Secretary General to continue studying and completing documents and reports to submit to the NA.
The agencies were also requested to finalise resolutions on personnel and administrative units of Bình Phước Province to submit for promulgation.
She stressed that relevant agencies should coordinate closely to examine and complete the draft laws as well as make preparations to ensure the NA’s sixth meeting will open on October 22 and last for one month.
She noted that it was necessary for relevant agencies to promptly submit full and accurate documentation to ensure that NA deputies will have sufficient time for in-depth research, as well as for preparing comments in the sixth meeting. — VNS
