HÀ NỘI — The Politburo has entrusted Phạm Tất Thắng, member of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and permanent vice-chairman of the PCC's Commission for Mass Mobilisation, to direct activities of the commission.

Previously, at the meeting on Tuesday, the Politburo decided to appoint Bùi Thị Minh Hoài, a Politburo member, secretary of the Party Central Committee and head of the PCC's Commission for Mass Mobilisation, as Secretary of the Hà Nội Party Committee for 2020-2025 term.

The Politburo assigned Thắng with the task of directing the Party Central Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilisation until the head of this body is appointed in accordance with regulations. — VNS
