New Cabinet members to be voted in

Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc yesterday submitted proposals on removing 20 Deputy
Prime Ministers, ministers and Cabinet members to the 13th NA’s 11th meeting, while also
presented proposals on nominating new Deputy PMs, Ministers and other Cabinet members. NA
deputies will vote to approve the proposals today.

Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc yesterday submitted proposals on removing 20 Deputy
Prime Ministers, ministers and Cabinet members to the 13th NA’s 11th meeting, while also
presented proposals on nominating new Deputy PMs, Ministers and other Cabinet members. NA
deputies will vote to approve the proposals today.

 – Politburo member Trương Hòa Bình, to be Deputy Prime Minister.
 – Politburo member Vương Đình Huệ, head of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission, to be Deputy Prime Minister.
 – Member of the Party Central Committee Trịnh Đình Dũng, to be Deputy Prime Minister.
 – Politburo member Ngô Xuân Lịch, Director of the General Department of Politics under the Viet Nam People’s Army, to be Minister of National Defence.
 – Politburo member Tô Lâm, Deputy Minister of Public Security, to be Minister of Public Security.
 – Member of the Party Central Committee Lê Vĩnh Tân – Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, to be Minister of Home Affairs.
 – Member of the Party Central Committee Lê Thành Long – Deputy Minister of Justice, to be Minister of Justice.
 – Member of the Party Central Committee Nguyễn Chí Dũng – Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment, to be Minister of Planning and Investment.
 – Member of the Party Central Committee Trần Tuấn Anh – Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, to be Minister of Industry and Trade.
 – Member of the Party Central Committee Trương Quang Nghĩa – Deputy head of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission, to be Minister of Transport.
 – Member of the Party Central Committee Phạm Hồng Hà, Deputy Minister of Construction, to be Minister of Construction.
 – Member of the Party Central Committee Trần Hồng Hà – Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, to be Minister of Natural Resources and Environment.
 – Member of the Party Central Committee Trương Minh Tuấn – Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, to be Minister of Information and Communications.
 – Member of the Party Central Committee Ðào Ngọc Dũng – Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies, to be Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.
 – Member of the Party Central Committee Nguyễn Ngọc Thiện – Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, to be Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
 – Member of the Party Central Committee Chu Ngọc Anh – Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, to be Minister of Science and Technology.
 – Member of the Party Central Committee Phùng Xuân Nhã – Director of the Vi?t Nam National University – Hà N?i, to be Minister of Education and Training.
 – Member of the Party Central Committee Ðào Văn Chiến – Deputy Minister and Vice Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Affairs, to be Minister – Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Affairs.
