Party official hails visit by Japanese Communist Parader

HÀ NỘI — Politburo member and head of the Communist Party of Việt Nam (CPV) Central Committee’s Organisation Commission Phạm Minh Chính hailed Chairman of the Presidium of the Communist Party of Japan (CPJ) Central Committee Shii Kazuo for his visit during a reception in Hà Nội yesterday. 

Chính, who is also Chairman of the Việt Nam-Japan Friendship Parliamentarians’ Group, said the visit was important to strengthening the traditional friendship between the two Parties, contributing to enriching the Việt Nam-Japan extensive strategic partnership. 

He said traditional ties between the CPV and CPJ had been further deepened via the regular exchange of visits and co-operation at multilateral forums. 

He expressed his belief the CPJ would continue supporting exchange between the two legislatures, thereby making contributions to the development of bilateral links. 

Kazuo believed that under the leadership of the CPV, the Vietnamese people would continue reaping greater achievements in the renewal process and successfully realise the 12th National Party Congress’ resolution towards turning Việt Nam into a modern-oriented industrialised nation. 

Expressing his delight at the growing ties between the two parties over the past five decades, the guest said the CPJ highly valued the development of ties between the two nations and people via information and ideological sharing for the sake of peace and stability in Asia and the world. 

Earlier, head of the CPV Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations Hoàng Bình Quân also hosted a reception for Kazuo. 

Both sides spoke highly of the close and effective cooperation between the Commission for External Relations and the CPJ’s Department of International Affairs and agreed to increase exchanges, maintain an ideology-sharing mechanism, work closely together at international forums, and make active contributions to communist and international labour movements. — VNS
