HÀ NỘI – The organising sub-committee of the 14th National Party Congress, which is scheduled to take place in early 2026, convened its 2nd meeting in Hà Nội on Friday.

Lương Cường, Politburo member and Permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat, who is also head of the sub-committee, chaired the meeting, which looked into the implementation of the organising plan for the congress, and proposals regarding the work, and communications plans.

Cường lauded efforts of relevant units as well as their coordination over the past time, saying preparations have been made as scheduled, meeting set requirements.

The good performance by each unit will significantly contribute to the success of the congress, he said, noting what raised at the meeting needs to be completed as soon as possible to seek opinions from the Politburo and the Secretariat for early implementation.

The organising sub-committee is one of the five sub-committees set up to serve the congress, along with others which are in charge of documents, socio-economic affairs, personnel affairs, and the Party Regulations. — VNS
