The Republic of Korea’s (RoK) National Assembly Speaker Chung Sye-kyun will start his official visit to Việt Nam today.

HÀ NỘI — The Republic of Korea’s (RoK) National Assembly Speaker Chung Sye-kyun will start his official visit to Việt Nam today.

Chung will lead a high-level delegation during a three-day visit to Việt Nam, announced the Vietnamese National Assembly’s Committee for External Affairs.

The visit is made at the invitation of the National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân.

Việt Nam and the RoK established diplomatic relations in December 1992. The two countries’ relationship was promoted to a comprehensive partnership in 2001 and to a strategic partnership in 2009. — VNS
