The Party, State and people of Viet Nam always value the comprehensive strategic partnership with China, said the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Việt Nam (CPV) in its message of congratulations recently sent to the Communist Party of China (CPC) on the occasion of the Party’s 19th Congress.

HÀ NỘI – The Party, State and people of Việt Nam always value the comprehensive strategic partnership with China, said the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Việt Nam (CPV) in its message of congratulations sent to the Communist Party of China (CPC) on the occasion of the Party’s 19th Congress.

The CPV Central Committee expressed delight at the great achievements of the Chinese people over past years under the sound leadership of the CPC Central Committee led by General Secretary Xi Jinping.

“We believe that the CPC’s 19th Congress will devise important policies and sound orientations for the Chinese people to successfully achieve the goal of developing a successful society on the occasion of the 100th founding anniversary of the CPC, towards the goal of building a modern, strong, democratic and civilised socialist country in celebration of the 100th founding anniversary of the People’s Republic of China,” said the message.

Việt Nam and China are two neighbouring countries with a long-standing tradition of friendship. The CPV and CPC stood side by side together to overcome challenges in past struggles for national liberation in the two countries.

“The Party, State and people of Việt Nam always bear in mind the valuable support of the Party, State and people of China,” the message said.

Việt Nam is ready to make continuous efforts to strengthen relations between the two Parties and countries in the spirit of “friendly neighbourliness, comprehensive cooperation, long-lasting stability and looking forwards to the future” and “good neighbours, good friends, good comrades and good partners” for basic and long-term interests of the two countries’ people as well as for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world, according to the message.

In conclusion, the CPV Central Committee hoped that the 19th Congress of the CPC would be a success. — VNS
