HÀ NỘI — Nhân Dân (People) newspaper, the central organ of the Communist Party of Việt Nam, on Tuesday launched a special website on 'Party General Secretary Nguyễn Phú Trọng – A visionary and kind-hearted Parader'.

The site http://nguyenphutrong.nhandan.vnconsists of nearly 1,000 articles, photos, videos and multimedia products reflecting on the life and career of the late Parader.

It includes articles written by the late leader on topics such as strengthening Party building and rectification, gradually realising socialism, culture – the spiritual foundation of society, drastically preventing corruption and negativity and Vietnamese bamboo diplomacy.

Readers can search by time or keywords on important speeches delivered by Trọng from the time he became Party General Secretary in 2011.

The special page also consists of opinions and comments from Party, State leaders, domestic and international experts on Trọng's strategic mindset and ideological guidance which are both comprehensive, profound and specific, consistent with the practice.

It also has a section reflecting the sentiments of local people from all walks of life, those living in Việt Nam and overseas and international friends of the late Parader.

Member of the Party Central Committee and Editor-in-Chief of Nhân DânNewspaper Lê Quốc Minh said over the past month, with a sense of political responsibility and special affection for Party General Secretary Nguyễn Phú Trọng -- an exceptionally outstanding leader, a teacher and big brother of Vietnamese revolutionary journalists -- the newspaper has been urgently working to launch a special website on the Parader.

General Lương Cường, Politburo member and permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat, said the special page is a timely action which holds a practical meaning, helping Party members, officials, people and international friends understand more about the life, career and major contributions of Parader Trọng.

It has also thoroughly grasped and creatively applied a rich and unique theoretical system of the late Parader in practical political tasks, he said.

The articles published on the site are digitalised, arranged and presented systematically and scientifically, which serves as an important database serving the research of experts as well as the general public, he said.

He asked the Party Central Committee's Commission for Publicity and Education and other relevant agencies to coordinate closely with the Nhân DânNewspaper to spread the impacts of the information page.

Party and State leaders press the button to launch the page on Tuesday at Nhân Dân Newspaper's headquarters in Hà Nội.

The same day Nhân DânNewspaper opened a photo exhibition of 44 photos on the life and career of Party General Secretary Nguyễn Phú Trọng.

The exhibition welcomes visitors from Tuesday until Thursday at 71 Hàng Trống Street, Hoàn Kiếm District, Hà Nội.
