HÀ NỘI – President of the Moroccan House of Representatives Habib El Malki is paying an official visit to Việt Nam from December 16-22.

He is accompanied by the Director of the Moroccan parliament’s Department of External Affairs, Amal Belcaid; Secretaries to the President of the House of Representatives, Hassan Najmi and Kamal Hachoumy; and Moroccan Ambassador to Việt Nam, Azzeddine Farhane.

The visit is being made at the invitation of National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân.

The visit presents opportunities for the two sides to forge bilateral parliamentary ties and compare their views on regional and international issues of common interest.

Việt Nam and Morocco established diplomatic ties in 1961. — VNS
