HÀ NỘI – Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc will lead the Vietnamese delegation to the second Mekong-Lancang Cooperation (MLC) Summit held on January 10 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

PM Phúc is attending the event at the invitation of his Cambodian counterpart Hun Sen.

The MLC is a sub-regional cooperation mechanism established in 2016 by six Mekong riparian countries: Cambodia, China, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam. Various exchange activities between political parties, officials, youth and religious groups have been organised under its auspices since. — VNS
