NGHỆ AN — The Police Investigation Security Agency of the central province of Nghệ An’s Police on Wednesday arrested Nguyễn Việt Dũng for allegedly conducting propaganda against the State. 

Dũng, born in 1986, resides in Hậu Thành Commune, Yên Thành District, Nghệ An Province. 
He was arrested for allegedly conducting propaganda against the State of the Socialist Republic of Việt Nam according to Article 88 of the country’s Penal Code. 
Local police said the arrest was conducted in accordance with regulations of the Criminal Procedure Code of Việt Nam. 
They have been completing procedures to launch criminal proceedings against Dũng and ordered a temporary detention to serve the investigation, prosecution, and trial. — VNS
