HÀ NỘI — Party General Secretary Nguyễn Phú Trọng gave a reception for a delegation of the Lao Front for National Construction (LFNC) Central Committee led by its Chairman Saysomphone Phomvihane in Hà Nội yesterday.

The Party chief highlighted the significance of bilateral relations between the two countries and applauded connection between the Việt Nam Fatherland Front and the LFNC.

He expressed his hope that the two fronts will continue co-ordinating closely to build national unity in the two countries, contributing to strengthening the Việt Nam-Laos relationship.

Chairman Saysomphone Phomvihane, said the LFNC will enhance co-ordination with the VFF in training staff, sharing experience and promoting exchanges.

The two sides will work closely in educating the young generations about the Việt Nam-Laos relationship, and in building the two nations’ border line of friendship and peace, he added.

He also congratulated Việt Nam on its achievements in recent times, and thanked the Party, State and people of Việt Nam for their great support for Laos. — VNS
